It certainly has been rather daft of me not to post in this, but I've been busy with the holidays and what have you! Mother has several to-dos she has me attend and the duties of a son just never end, what! I do love my mother, no doubt, but a fellow does need a bit of a holiday from his holiday, it seems!

Now, as it goes, I've had a lovely bit of a break but am looking forward to returning to Hogwarts, I must say! It has been nice to see the old family and the homestead, but I am beginning to miss the drafty dorms and what not! I did, however, for Christmas, get a lovely set of books on the botany studies of one Ivan Tabush, which is a bloody good read, I'll have you know, and I will be very keen to share them, if anyone is interested! As well as a good lot of candies the family has given that I just won't be able to polish off myself!

Oh! I hear mother calling, so I best be off! However, if anyone needs anything before school is back in session, I am reachable at my family estate!
